We are looking for an Innovation Consultant (Expert Consultant level) to strengthen our Munich office, focusing on EU-funded innovation programmes in Defence and Aviation (e.g. EDF and Clean Aviation).
You will support clients across Europe throughout the full funding lifecycle, from securing funding to implementing funded projects, working on high-impact initiatives at the intersection of technology, policy, and innovation.

Support clients in successfully acquiring and implementing EU-funded projects in defence and aviation ecosystems by combining strong proposal capabilities with hands-on project management and strategic advisory.
Your tasks 1st part (in max 4 bullets)
- Contribute to and lead EU proposal writing (EDF, Clean Aviation, Horizon Europe)
- Support and manage EU-funded projects during implementation (coordination, reporting, deliverables)
- Build and coordinate international consortia
- Advise clients on EU funding strategy and positioning

- Analyse work programmes, call texts, and policy developments
- Manage proposal and project workflows (timelines, stakeholders, quality)
- Support partner search and stakeholder engagement
- Contribute to client relationships and business development
Your profile 1st part (in max 4 bullets)
- 3–7+ years of experience in EU R&D funding, innovation consulting, or EU project management
- Experience in EU-funded programmes in Defence and/or Aviation (e.g. EDF, Clean Aviation, Horizon Europe Cluster 5) strongly preferred
- Experience in proposal writing is strongly preferred (not mandatory)
- Experience in EU project implementation / coordination is highly valued

- Background in aerospace, defence, engineering, or similar is a plus
- Strong stakeholder management and organisational skills
- Fluent in English (German is a strong plus)
- Comfortable working in international, multi-partner environments
